Rindy Ross (saxophones) was the lead singer and co-founder of "Quarterflash," from Portland, OR, whose award-winning debut album on Geffen Records went platinum in 1982. Originally, the union of two bands, Seafood Mama and Pilot, they are probably best remembered for their 1981 gold single, "Harden My Heart." Marv Ross, her husband, was the founder, guitarist-songwriter, and producer of Quarterflash and The Trail Band. The Rosses have toured with Elton John, Linda Ronstadt, and The Beach Boys.
