Traditionally, the Keizer Iris Festival kicks off with the Open Art Show on May 1 and runs through May 31. Then, something magical happens toward the middle of the month. Residents and visitors are treated to three fun-filled days with a parade through the city, carnival, food booths, trade show, live music, and dancing, billed as "Keizer Washington Mutual Iris Days."
