Timberline Lodge

Ubicado a mitad de camino a la cima del monte. Hood es Timberline Lodge, una obra maestra de albergues de montaña. La revolucionaria se celebró 11 de junio 1936, y la construcción de madera y piedra natural de mamut comenzó cuando la Administración Federal de los proyectos de obras artesanos desempleados contratados para construir el albergue totalmente a mano, por dentro y por fuera. Timberline Lodge fue dedicado por el Presidente Franklin Roosevelt, en septiembre de 1937, y declarado Monumento Histórico Nacional en 1978.
